Nordic Plan 1.2.3

The Nordic Marine Insurance Plan of 2013, also known as the Nordic Plan 2013, is a standardized set of policy conditions that was approved by all five signatory parties to the Nordic Plan Agreement on October 1, 2012. The signatory parties include Cefor - The Nordic Association of Marine Insurers, The Danish Shipowners' Association, The Finnish Shipowners' Association, The Norwegian Shipowners' Association, and The Swedish Shipowners' Association.

The Nordic Plan 2013 is based on the Norwegian Marine Insurance Plan of 1996, and it incorporates amendments from the Version 2010 of the Norwegian plan. The plan and its commentary are available in English, with translations available in four Nordic languages.

Amendments made to the plan compared to the 2010 version of the Norwegian plan are clearly marked in the printed, web, and app versions of the plan. It is important to note that while the Nordic Plan 2013 is highly recommended as a fair and well-balanced solution, it is not mandatory. Parties involved in each case are encouraged to negotiate and determine the specific terms of their agreement based on their individual circumstances.
